ABOUT PROJECT
Lend A Hand Program
‘’Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can."
The Lend A Hand Program is to serve as a platform where Awaken Corporate group which consists of Third Year students of International Financial Economics (HE22) course from Universiti Malaysia Sabah Labuan International Campus can have a chance to act in an ethical and transparent way that contributes to the health and welfare of society via crowdfunding. We can help the citizens in Labuan who need helps through gather fund from public.
OBJECTIVE:
1. To serve as a platform for students to learn invaluable soft skills through interacting with the community in real life and on the internet.
2. To assist NGO to make connections to our community and the larger world to help those in need.

RISKS AND CHALLENGES
As the organization, the risk that we might face :
1) We will not be able to achieve our expected target on the crowdfunding platform. Hence, we could not afford to purchase the listed items and give the sufficient fund to our targeted family as we planned.
2) Also, as the internet is a wide platform so gaining one’s trust would be a challenge to achieve our crowdfunding target.
- We will give the excess fund to the NGO we assist, which is Pertubuhan Kebajikan Warga Labuan (Mutiara Labuan). We trust that they will use it wisely

We are Awaken Corporate team, Final Year students from Universiti Malaysia Sabah Labuan International Campus working together with Pertubuhan Kebajikan Warga Labuan (Mutiara Labuan) to act an ethical and transparent way that contributes to the health and welfare of society via crowdfunding. We are trying our best to help any unfortunate family around us and give back to the society as much as we can. After living for years in Labuan, we realised that there are a lot of unfortunate people that need our help and we do really want to help them sincerely. Not everyone is lucky like us, we hope with your donation, we can lend our hand to help families who are in need.
